Jade is a non binary queer and neuro-divergent director and photographer who works 360 across film and photography bringing their own perspective and creative flare to their work as a film director, photographer, dop and editor.
.
After graduating from Southampton Solent University with a BA Hons in Contemporary Photography they moved to London and worked as a freelance assistant photographer in various studios. Eventually progressing independently and working now as a Freelance Director, Photographer and Editor in various commercial work in film and photography. Their work has won various prizes and they have been published online and in print through various editorial work.

A background in photography, drawing from a young age, experience lighting sets and working as an editor this has given Jade a trained eye for detail, light and a love of capturing authentic moments within classic, beautiful and observant compositions.

Directing


Working as an up and coming freelance director in commercials Jade currently works closely and is on the freelance roster with Annex Films, Visionaries, Savage Films, Presence Production Co, Luca Earth, HOJ, Thursday's Child.

A self taught filmmaker from 2018 currently they are in the writing process of writing their first narrative short with a completion of a scriptwriting course with life in a story.

Jade navigates their time between Directing and Photography working on one or the other and is always open to either.

Working on pitches Jade comes in strong with ideas and references when bidding and has great relationships with treatment designers who they work closely with when pitching.

Jade currently self funds their Social and Documentary photography projects through their commercial work focusing on photographic essays that are important to them.

Open to shooting stills and photography work that aligns across portraiture, documentary, travel, culture and women's sports.
